New York's Irish community was out in full force at this year's New York Marathon, held on Sunday November 5.
Mary Stone, Andrea Purcell-Boggio, and Kerri McHale made their statement, as they got ready to root "Annie Rock" throughout the race in beautiful Central Park.

Fiona's Bar and Restaurant on 86th Street and 1st Avenue was the home of all the Irish supporters, as they cheered for everything green that came down the hill.

Marian Sinclair, Patrick Monroe, and Joe Sinclair relax at Jay's Place after the race. Patrick has run 12 marathons, but this was his first and best time running the NYC Marathon (in 4:15!).

Cathy McKenna, Mickey Reidy, and Joanne Reidy. Mickey ran his second NYC Marathon in 3:08 and his fifth in total (all with impressive times ranging from 2:53 in Dublin in 1984, to 2:56 in Boston last year). Keep up the good work Mickey!

Frankie Dwyer, Colleen Dwyer (5:15), and John Madden (4:30) were at J.P. Clarke's after the race, as the trio celebrated their finishing the marathon-they were also on hand to raise money for John's sister Audrey's school, St.Anne's, back in Roscrea, Co.Tipperary. Anyone interested in donating to this worthy cause, please stop by and drop your donation at J.P.Clarke's Saloon on McLean Avenue in Yonkers, NY.
